I was invited to one of my besties Wedding a few weeks ago and I have een looking for the right present for her.  I finally decided to create a Tile for her and this is what came out!! I was so excited and now i'll be making these for every wedding I go to because I just love the personalization.!! I def am inspired by my cricut!!

I'm Back, Maybe it's fall again!!

Okay so I know you may all be mad at me but I finally decided to start posting again...  Truth be told, there truly has been some busy times.  We moved and I didn't have a chance to show you my scraproom before ( no it's not one room for just scrapping, I share with my daughter).  Well I got a pleasant surprise my husband decided to set up a craft corner in our new room!! It's amazing.  Honestly now I truly know what it's like to work with the space you've got and yes I will show you a video of my new "corner" soon to come!! I'll just write it on my to do list.

So I have made some simple but elegant cards I love the pregnancy one I'll be making that AGAIN so you can all watch the video for this one maybe modified.  I'll try to keep it real close though!
oh and with the wedding card above... if someone knows how to use glue on vellum LET ME KNOW please!!  I def need help on this one if you can't tell.  All I can come up with is try to make an embelishment to cover the glue up!  Happy inspiration!

Merry Christmas

Christmas Creations

I hope you all had a great Christmas creating all sorts of new things!!  We had a great family time and I had a blast creating so many Christmas cards.  I so enjoyed making our Christmas cards this year. I make ours every year since we've been married and I love it. It seems like every year we keep adding more and more friends and family one day I think I'll have to get our cards printed instead, but for now I can still make our cards.

You can see the different variations I made and those are only 2 of the several different ones. And it is so fun to say that every year we make cookies in a jar and give to friends in family. So simple and So fun to do this as a family activity!!
Well I hope this inspired you to go out and do something creative!!

Booked

Hey out there things have been going great sorry so long... I guess i'm just excited to say... we finally got things set to start making videos for this website.  I guess I've been wanting to hold back till we can air them. I will air my first scrapping video in January!! I'm so excited to bring you all fun techniques with the cricut, gypsy, cuttlebug and simply so many other things.  The lines are open to e-mail me about questions and I will do everything I can to find the answers to them.  I have already been asked to post videos about using cricut and different techniques so KEEP IT UP!!! I love requests ...
And no I have not forgotten to post the how to for the halloween card I just decided to post it up ... ON VIDEO YEAH!!!  Hopefully we can all have fun At this time I do want to post a project that I was booked on.

My husbands job every year asks me to do something for a holiday this year they asked me to make a card.  This was no ordinary card, they wanted a 12x12 scrapbook card for the top honcho (however that's spelled). You see he is helping build a school for Haiti children and he wears the funnest socks ever.  They wanted the card to reflect that ... and this is the sock I chose!!!
Anyways I was thinking "how am i gonna do this" This is what I came up with

So much fun!!! It was such a challenge but it was so fun the empty slots are for all the coworkers to sign it so they could send it to him. They where supposed to present it to him at the Christmas party but he wasn't able to make it oh well he'll recieve it soon!!

Advent Christmas Calendar

Hey everyone I am very excited to say that I have launched our company store at Etsy.com it is very exciting but to be honest we don't have very much posted at all we are still creating and will be working hard to keep posting our creations. It's just exciting to get our first creation up and running! This is a Christmas Advent Calendar. All number tops can be removed  I like to place paper strips behind and as days are counted down the family have an activity to do
such as:
~Make cookies
~Go see Christmas lights
~12 days till Christmas
~Sing Carols
~Secret Santa shopping
~Grandmas house
~Make Gingerbread Houses
~Mail Santa's letters
~Watch Christmas movie
etc.

That way kids will be so excited to have see that day's event (remember to plan early) Best yet we have a delicious Chocolate Mousse cupcake recipe included with it so on the 25th day you can take everything off of the cupcake sheet and make mini cupcakes for you family and start that tradition!! Recipe is placed behind "Happy Christmas" card. We can also custom make these so if you want a color scheme (white and blue, green and red, gold and red, etc) you can ask for it right here or e-mail me at scrapinisty@gmail.com before placing order and I can have that ready asap!!
